Hello! My name is Emily and I am a 21 year old fashion model originally from Eau Claire, WI and residing in Minneapolis, where I recently graduated from University of Minnesota with degrees in neuroscience, psychology, and public health. While I initially intended to attend medical school and pursue a passion for and profession in neurosurgery, in the spring of 2020, I was scouted by a modeling agency. Since being scouted, I have uncovered a deep-rooted passion for modeling, but more specifically, for serving as both a muse and mentor to the creatives who surround me. I created Modelmorphosis with the hopes of expanding this passion and educating the next generation of fashion models, a profession historically plagued by polar power dynamics, perfectionistic ideals, pitfalls, and privy practices. The evolution of the modeling industry is dependent on the individuals who compose it, including the 13 Midwestern models who will be invited to attend the first Modelmorphosis event. I hope to not only educate, but empower those who attend by providing tools, tips, and tricks on how to navigate the industry, nurture your body, and revolutionize both your runway and posing repertoires.
